Steeper Energy’s Calgary-based ABC Is the Center-of-Excellence for Upgrading Knowledge Related to Hydrofaction® Oil.
The ABC is comprised of two distinct operations: A lab-scale Refinery, and an Analytic Laboratory dedicated to characterizing Hydrofaction® and Upgraded Oils to support third-party and potential partner investigations of Steeper’s products.
Commissioning of the ABC was completed in November 2021 and includes units to perform full upgrading of Hydrofaction® Oil to finished fuels including marine, diesel, and jet fuels.
